2014 Presented at Fresh Fish Fashion design competition (8th edition), where I was named Best Accessories Designer. The collection featured hand-crafted accessories, bags, and painted tank tops made from recycled leather, engraved with twelve motifs derived from fractured-diamond puzzle designs. Each motif is named after areas in my hometown, Vexala.
Justification by the jury: She sees the unclear as obvious in her personal Ostrobothnian heritage and modernity. A creative base because of endless possibilities through the language of mathematics, which creates a matrix that can be applied to everything from clothing to accessories for interior design. We, the jury, could certainly see this as the next Scandinavian brand at Colette in Paris, Dower Street Market in London, Beams in Tokyo!
